Support the Friends of the Oklawaha Greenway by volunteering!
Repair and maintenance of the Oklawaha Greenway rests with the City of Hendersonville and Henderson County governments. The Friends of the Oklawaha Greenway have volunteered their time and resources to help maintain the entire length of the Oklawaha Greenway through the City of Hendersonville’s Adopt-A-Park/Trail program. First Thursday Greenway Gardeners are responsible for maintaining the Burlingame Native Plant Garden at the kiosk. The gardeners meet once a month during the spring, summer and fall for two hours. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
